The parts of this song that stand out to me lyrically the most are the beginning and the end…the middle’s pretty damn good too but I want to key in on those parts. It’s true ! There is no romance to be seen anymore. Not just in the relationship sense…in the way the respect has gone for our elders, our world, ourselves ! We’re unromantic to ourselves. I admire how truthful he is by saying how he’s hypercritical, we all are at times.
