Arthur’s Day

The best evening of my year so far I’d say ! Saw some amazing music in tiny venues and pubs. Started my evening off with a bit of Kelis…

Then pub hopped over to some Plan B. Was hoping to see my loverlee friend Jodi play bass but it was an acoustic gig. Still amazing though..

Then did one of my favourite gigs of the year in a pub called HOGANS ! Want to thank the crowd so much for being amazing fun !
Then got to see the amazingly charming and characteristic face and hear the unique voice of Brandon Flowers..

he did an acoustic version of When you were young which was amazing, and made me realize really how beautiful the lyrics are. If anyone’s a renewed Elvis, i’d say it’s him. His performance blew me away ! And his new songs from his album Flamingo sound amazing. I was singing along and I’d never heard any before !
Then I popped over to one of my favourite venues in Dublin, The Olympia to see Paulo Nutini ho was very drunk and very wonderful ! He sings and has soul like Otis Redding.

I wish I had a better camera to really show you what i saw. Am working on getting that panasonic Lux lens !
The whole night was so amazing ! So thank you Arthur Guinness !
